Boxing Day


If Sunday occurs on Boxing Day, this is also known as St Stephens Day. It is a nice idea to read the words to the Good King Wenceslas Carol. Good Kind Wenceslas looked out on the "Feast of Stephen". He spots a poor man and sets out to help him. I have an old carol book with a lovely illustration which I will scan and we used this for Children's Liturgy that day. Our church music group then played Good Kind Wenceslas as the final hymn that day which worked very well.
